Welcome to Magnolia
Movement that builds muscle, confidence & calm
Whether you're building strength, improving your posture, or simply learning to move with greater confidence, every session is tailored to you in a calm, light-filled space.
What I offer
Sessions, tailored to you
Whether solo or duet, every session is private and expertly crafted to your specific needs and goals. I'll coach you every step of the way, offering challenges and corrections throughout.

Reformer Pilates
Solo · DuetA dynamic, full-body workout that builds strength, improves posture, and enhances flexibility on the spring-loaded Align Reformers. Every session is tailored to you, with a focus on control, alignment, and mindful movement.
Available as solo or duet sessions on two side-by-side Reformers – perfect for training alone or sharing with a partner, friend, or family member. Parent & teen combos welcome.

Barre
Solo · DuetDeep, targeted strength. Small, controlled movements that isolate and tone – with that signature shake and burn in all the right places. Each session sculpts your core, glutes, arms, and legs.
With expert guidance and personalised adjustments, you'll build strength, stamina, and serious muscle tone, one pulse at a time.

Mat Pilates & Sculpt
Solo · DuetMat Pilates blends classical structure with modern movement – deep muscle engagement, improved posture, and a focused burn using your bodyweight, breath, and precision.
Sculpt builds on that foundation with heavier weights, resistance bands, and strength-based sequencing. Slow, deliberate, and seriously effective.

Meet your trainer
Hi, I'm Elena
A certified Pilates and Barre instructor, longtime spin coach, and someone who has loved movement since I was a teen. For years I worked in television development and production – but off-screen, fitness was always how I recharged, connected, and felt grounded.
I've poured that same creative energy into Magnolia Fitness: a private studio designed to help you feel strong, present, and lit up from the inside out. Whether we're sculpting on the mat, flowing on the Reformer, or pulsing at the barre, my goal is to help you move with intention and joy.

Questions, answered
Do I need any experience to try Reformer Pilates?
Not at all — most of my clients are complete beginners. Because every session is private (just you, or you and a partner), I'll ease you in at your own pace, show you how the Reformer works, and tailor every exercise to your level. New clients start with a discounted intro session.
Where in Bristol is the studio?
Magnolia Fitness is a private home studio in Redland, Bristol (BS6). It's a calm, light-filled space with two Align Reformers — I'll share the full address and directions when you book your first session.
What's the difference between Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates?
Mat Pilates uses your bodyweight, breath and precision on the mat, sometimes with small props like weights and resistance bands. Reformer Pilates is performed on a spring-loaded machine that adds resistance and support, which makes it brilliant for both beginners and anyone wanting a deeper full-body challenge. If you're unsure, tell me your goals and I'll recommend a starting point.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable leggings or shorts and a top you can move in. Grip socks are ideal for Reformer and Barre (I have spares if you forget). Everything else — mats, props, water — is here at the studio.
Can I train with a friend, partner or family member?
Yes — duet sessions are one of the most popular ways to train at Magnolia. The studio has two side-by-side Reformers, so you can share a session with a friend, partner, or family member. Parent and teen combos are welcome too, and duets work out cheaper per person than solo sessions.
Is it suitable after having a baby?
Yes — I offer dedicated Mummy & Me postnatal sessions where two mums train together and babies come along too, with specialist postnatal programming and baby support as needed. If you're returning to exercise after birth, I'll always work at a pace that's safe for your recovery.
How much do sessions cost?
New clients start from £35 for a first session (solo) or £45 for a duet. After that, Reformer sessions are £70 solo / £90 duet, and Mat, Barre & Sculpt are £55 solo / £80 duet, with multi-session packs that bring the price down. All sessions are private and run 50 minutes — see the pricing section for the full list.
